Lead Vocalist - Broc Hillyer
What’s up y’all, I’m the lead singer of The Buckeye Creek Band. I’m 39, an 8 year Army combat veteran. It all started when I was young, I loved to sing and perform in front of family and friends at a young age. I also love anything to do with outdoors, hiking, bike riding, camping, fishing, hunting and kayaking. I am also a paranormal investigator along side my girl and the family. I’m also a huge metal fan. I wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for a very special woman in my life, I was singing to her one day and she asked if I ever thought about singing in a band, then told me to go for it, so here we are. Thank you Megan, I love you so much. I also want to thank Tammy (momma) for all the support she’s shown me and Chelsea for being a huge hype person for me ever since she heard about the band. I want to thank the rest of my family and friends. I love y’all. I’m looking forward to seeing y’all at the shows!! 🤘😎
Lead Guitarist - Keith Cutlip
I've been playing music since I was a young kid. I got my first guitar at the age of three and haven't put it down since. While I enjoy playing all stringed instruments, the guitar has always been my favorite. Over the years, I've played in a variety of bands and truly love jamming and entertaining a crowd.
My musical background spans southern rock, country, bluegrass, and gospel. Growing up in West Virginia before moving to Ohio, music was a big part of my life from the beginning. It's always been something I could turn to and something I continue to enjoy every day.
Drummer - Doug Clark
I found my love of music in 1968 with a pair of drum sticks and a snare playing for my alma mater’s marching and pep bands. Between 1975 and 2023, I provided the tempo for various bands and trios, where I learned to perform everything from Jazz, Pop, Motown, Rock and Roll, and Country.
If you need a beat, I just need a surface and my drumsticks. I enjoy keeping the rhythm and holding it down from the back of the band, the greatest seat in the house. I look forward to playing the best country music for you in the Buckeye Creek Band.
When I ‘m not playing drums, I spend my time with my wife and grandchildren. Or you can find me tinkering in my garage. Looking forward to seeing y’all soon.
Rhythm Guitarist - Jim Fete
I've been playing guitar since third grade, and music has been a lifelong passion. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to perform in a variety of settings—everything from intimate duets and small combos to full-scale big bands. My musical journey has taken me through genres like 1950s rock and roll, 60s and 70s classics, blues, jazz, country, church music, and big band standards.
I’ve been part of several bands, each with its own flavor and personality. Timeless was a 15-piece big band where I had the joy of backing up horn sections on swing-era standards. Final Wishes was a six-piece group blending guitars and horns to cover rock, pop, and soul favorites. Near Death Experience—a tongue-in-cheek name for a group of veteran musicians—focused on classic rock and roots music, delivering timeless tunes with the depth only years of playing can bring.
Bass Guitarist- Mike Milhoan
Bio
I was born into a musical family and “got the bug” at an early age. In the 20th century, I attended and graduated from the Dana School of Music to further my music ambition. Although my working career was outside the music industry, I kept playing Bass Guitar in a multitude of bands prior to joining The Buckeye Creek Band. I have performed numerous genres ranging from Polka, Variety, Big Band, Broadway Style Musicals, Rock N Roll, 60s and 70s and a group featuring the music of the Beatles, Red Dirt Country, and Southern Rock. However Country Music is my passion. I like to lay down the “beat”and look forward to seeing everyone out on the dance floor.
